Welcome!

The Arizona Crime Prevention Association (ACPA) was created in 1977 by crime prevention officers, civilian employees, volunteers and members of security and loss prevention industries. The ACPA is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

The goals of the ACPA are to focus attention on local, state and regional issues related to crime prevention and provide a forum for the exchange, coordination and teaching of ideas, concepts and programs pertaining to the reduction of crime. This is done by providing:

  • Crime Prevention training to law enforcement officers, crime prevention specialists, business loss prevention experts and private citizens.
  • Various Powerpoint presentations, brochures and forms on a variety of crime prevention topics that are available for download in the Members Only section.
  • A vast and constant support network of crime prevention specialists with a variety of professional expertise.

The RFP and Appendix II (Environmental Stewardship Plan) can be downloaded at www.maricopa.gov/parks and go to the “Planning and Construction” link. There is a mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference scheduled for Monday, June 16, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. (Mountain Standard Time – Arizona Time). The Conference will be held on-site at Buckeye Hills Regional Park, 26700 W. Buckeye Hills Drive, Buckeye, AZ 85337 and should last approximately one hour depending upon questions. Representatives from the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department will be available at the Conference to answer your questions.
